Component 5 - Speaking and Listening Test Overview

If you follow 0500, Speaking and Listening is an optional component. If you so wish, you may choose to enter candidates for either the Speaking and Listening Test (Component 5) or for the Speaking and Listening Coursework (Component 6). Your students’ marks do not contribute to the overall grade they receive for the written components. Instead, this is separately endorsed on the certificate with a numerical grade: 1 (high) to 5 (low).
