Each guide is written by an expert and this expertise leads the construction of the guide. For example at Edusites we do not create a template our experts have to follow. If as a teacher you are teaching Hamlet it is unlikely that you would also be looking at our King Lear Guide so there does not have to be consistency about the structure of the guide. The only consistency we are interested in at Edusites English is the consistency of quality and engagement. As I work on our guide to King Lear I am made aware of the different angles through which we can both read and teach plays.

In this new Edusites King Lear Guide you will find the following cake slices (themes and characters) running through the play rather than an act-by-act (layers of a cake) guide.

Introduction, Overview, History and Background New PDF

The play's contemporary importance and significance New PDF

Gloucester, Edgar and Edmund - The Sub Plot New PDF

The End of it All New PDF
