Spoken Language Endorsement for GCSE English Language The four English awarding bodies have developed the new criteria for Spoken Language assessment in the new GCSE English Language (9-1) qualifications. This will be a separately endorsed component, for which candidates will be graded Distinction, Pass, or Merit.
